Getting to Know Me: Q and A With Livia Jenvey

Getting to know the person behind the coach or mentor is difficult because a lot of time for these people is spent perfecting the lives and careers of others. 

But today, I’m going to show a little bit of myself and open up on a few things about what I love, who I am, and what I’m about. I hope it allows you to get a glimpse of who I am and really show what my heart and passion are all about.

Who is your role model and why?

I have many role models, but the biggest one I have is Oprah. She is a heart-centered woman, cares about people, supports them by being themselves and being real, and sharing their gifts to the world. And she has become a very wealthy woman from her work.  I desire to be a very wealthy woman who got there by helping good-hearted people do great things in life. 

What are you most proud of in your life?

I am most proud of choosing me and my happiness first in life. I had spent many years choosing things (careers, friends, relationships, places I lived, etc.) to please others and it ended up turning out to be miserable each time I put myself last. When I finally stopped being “the good girl,” I rebelled against the norm everyone wanted me to pursue. Instead, I committed to walking down a path that I enjoyed and loved doing it for me first, versus doing it for others. This is not an easy feat for most of us women because we are often told to be a “good girl,” follow the norm. It’s easy for us to get discouraged from following our hearts and dreams. I’m very proud to have trusted my heart first and allowed it to be my guide for my life’s experiences. Doing this has allowed me now to choose things for me that benefit my well-being, sanity, and happiness.  

What are you passionate about?

Helping good people make great money. I’ve seen too many people who are good-hearted sacrifice and struggle for ages, while those who are heartless coast free and live abundantly.  I am passionate about turning the tide and helping these good people get to live lives where they have more ease and abundance. Because when good people are no longer sacrificing and struggling, the world is a much happier and safer place. 

What makes you feel confident and amazing?

A really good workout! Like hiking a steep hill and getting to the top. Or doing a great weight training high intensity (HIIT) workout.  I literally feel so confident I can conquer anything when I get a great workout in!

What is your favorite inspirational quote?

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible.” Audrey Hepburn.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

I would have told my younger self to believe in her big dreams; they are meant to be lived. Ignore the naysayers, they mean well, but that dream of yours is inside YOU for a reason, so don’t let those naysayers convince you otherwise. Seek out support from a mentor, teacher, or coach as soon as you can to help you make those dreams possible.

I’d also tell her: You’re amazing, totally good enough, and very very valuable to this world. If the people in your circle don’t recognize how amazing and valuable you are, they are not the right people for you to spend time with. Always seek those who see the greatness in you and are there to support you to shine your unique, amazing, beautiful, valuable brightness out in the world each day!
